5 lb 80/20 Ground Beef
1 Cup PRESIDENT'S CHOICE Gluten-Free Plain Bread Crumbs
1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
1 Tbsp Black Pepper
2 Tbsp Traeger Rub
1 Cup Finely Chopped Red Sweet Peppers
1 Cup Finely Chopped Green Onion
1 Cup Ketchup
To follow this recipe exactly, use a Traeger BBQ.
Thoroughly mix together the ground beef, eggs, gluten-free bread crumbs, kosher salt, black pepper, Traeger rub, red sweet peppers and green onion.
When ready to cook, set the temperature to 225℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
Mold the meat mixture into a loaf and season exterior with the Traeger rub.
Place meatloaf directly on the grill grate and cook for 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Increase the grill temperature to 375°F and cook until an internal temperature of 155°F.
Glaze the meatloaf with ketchup and cook an additional 15 minutes.
Allow to rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
*Cook times will vary depending on set and ambient temperatures.
Make sure your texture is right before you put it on the BBQ.
It has to be a solid mass.
Smells SO GOOD!
Your coworkers will be jealous if you bring this for lunch. It smells so good, and it tastes even better.
We used our Traeger BBQ and you can see the noticeable smoke ring, which adds to the flavour.
This is a recipe we will make again and again and again.
